What is Fritted Glass?

Fritted glass is manufactured by sintering or fusing glass particles into a solid but porous glass body.

Fritted discs are produced by shaping the object at high pressure and subsequently heating the pressed glass particles to a high enough temperature that they fuse together and become a mechanically strong object.

Made exclusively of Corning Borosilicate Glass through a special milling and sintering process, the filters contain no foreign substances and are classified as pharmaceutical grade.  Because the filters are a pure glassy matrix, they can easily be fused to the desired glass part of a filter apparatus for nearly any application.

33Fuze glass filters have been proven effective in a variety of applications including filtration, washing processes, cleaning of gasses, extraction, diffusion, dispersion and particulate elimination.
